Kate Hughes Rinzler (1937-2010) was a batik artist, modern dancer, and much more, and a mentor to me, her brother.

William H. Littlefield (1902-69) was a Cape Cod artist, a Hughes family friend in the 1940s and a mentor. Littlefield dealt with homoerotic themes, portraiture, Cape landscapes, and, later, Abstract Expressionism. He became the administrator of The Club, the New York City gathering of the artists of the 10th Street scene.

Prince Street Gallery is a co-op, artist-run gallery founded in 1970. I have been a member since 2009. It is located at 547 West 27th. Street, between 10th and 11th avenues in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I have a two-person show at the gallery September 6 to October 1, 2022.
